And because we know that bugs aren't welcome in your home or indoor plant pots, the houseplant potting soil is less prone to gnats, thanks to the right combination of ingredients: perlite, sphagnum peat moss, fertilizer, a wetting agent and coir. It’s perfect for growing Pothos, Monstera Plants, Spider Plants, and more popular indoor plant varieties. To use, select a container with a drainage hole. Fill the pot about 1/3 full with the potting soil mix, place your plant in the pot, and add more houseplant mix around the roots, pressing lightly to level. Water your container thoroughly after planting and let drain. One 4-qt. bag of Miracle-Gro Houseplant Potting Mix fills an 8-inch container (amounts may vary depending on the size of the root ball).
